Solar Water: Pumping Water with the Sun is a short film documentary about using “PV direct” to move water from where it is to where you want it, without inverters or batteries
Shawn Mills is raising funds to create a short film documentary about solar water pumping. I will build a test stand with several different pumps and controllers to test different options for solar direct water pumping. This means no batteries, no inverters…just a panel, a controller, and a pump. My documentary will be a resource for people who want to deliver water to their homestead, their livestock, or their home in a way that is cheap but effective. Too many people just buy what is rated highly on a third party website vs buying the most cost effective option for their specific pumping solution. I cant tell you how many people call me after buying the wrong pump!
Whether it is a deep well submersible, a jet pump, a transfer pump, or something else and whether you are pumping up 5 feet and away 500 feet or right into the house from a nearby spring, he will provide the data you need to buy your components with confidence!
Shawn needs your help to fund the acquisition of new pumps, and to cover the costs of editing, publishing, and distributing the final product.
