TEXORA Outsider Basic Survival Course – June 2023 – TX

This class is our 3-day beginner level course and develops the basic skills necessary for all other classes. This class focuses on building elementary self-reliance and outdoor skills.

Curriculum includes: kit building, use of tools, knots, water processing, signaling for rescue, identifying resources, shelter construction, fire crafting, navigation, use of wild medicinals and edibles, and construction of simple tools using available resources.

This course is a hands on experience and includes therapeutic processing of the life applications of learned skills daily. All clients passing the testing portion on the last day of the course will receive certification as a LEVEL I OUTSIDER.

As with all courses, you MUST be able to walk up to 2 miles unassisted in order to sign up for this course.
