What is a swale?
When and why to install swales?
When to NOT use swales?
How to lay out a swale.
How to dig a swale both with equipment and by hand.
How to plant a swale
The course will be held outside for hands-on instruction in the early morning through about noon, and inside an air-conditioned space Saturday afternoon for theoretical instruction.
Tent camping, light breakfast, coffee, and cold but hearty lunch is included for Saturday and Sunday.
