MgO & HEMP Building Fundamentals Workshop Week 2 – 2023 – CANADA

We are offering a 2nd workshop 7-day MgO and HEMP building finishing workshop. Of all of the building and finishing we have done, the MgO and Hemp is our favorite combonation of materials for it’s non-toxic, breathability and ease of use!
From August 16th through August 23rd we will be sharing our passion for Magnesium Oxide and Hemp as building materials while finishing the home that we started. Students will learn the Cast-in-Place method of forming up walls resulting in a well insulated and sustainable wall system. After the walls are done we fill the rafters with hemp and deck the roof. Finishing includes window and door installation, MgO/hemp flooring options and stuccoing the exterior/interior.
In this workshop, you will learn how to:

- finishing techniques to personalize the design of your home
