Knife, Bow Drill Fire, and Cordage Skills w/ Jason Smith 2023 – NC

Jason Smith owns Hobo Forge Survival and has a decorated career of over 20 years in special operations and the SERE Community. Jason has been featured on the History Channel show “Alone: The Beast” and he is the maker of highly sought after forged knives. He will instruct students in how to use knives to their full potential and to construct a bow drill set for friction fire starting. He will also provide instruction on how to make natural cordage and combine all the skills taught in a culminating challenge testing students’ ability to make a one log fire. Smith is local to Aberdeen, NC and will have a limited supply of his hand-made kit for sale.
