Hempcrete Build Experience & Festival

HEMPCRETE BUILDING WORKSHOP – Wednesday evening to Saturday afternoon…
Beginning Wednesday evening, we will focus on learning to build with hemp – including sourcing the materials, mixing the recipe, & installing it into a Solviva greenhouse.

Join us if you’d like to:

Start your own hemp construction company or other kind of hemp business that serves a sub-sector or supplier niche
Become part of global network of hemp builders & entrepreneurs
Learn to build your own home
Learn about starting a small hemp farm
Learn about hemp processing on a small scale
Get ready for the up-and-coming hemp building workforce
Note: This workshop is designed for up to 25 attendees.

….followed by “It Takes a Village Festival” – Saturday later afternoon to Monday morning.

IT TAKES A VILLAGE FESTIVAL
Saturday late afternoon we’ll transition to hosting “It Takes a Village Festival,” a family-friendly community gathering taking place over the weekend, including live music & bands, DJs, VJs, flow & fire artists, dance performances, healing artists and practitioners, goats!, permaculturists, vendors, acro yoga, natural medicine making, plant and mushroom foraging, hempcrete building 101, song & drum circles, dyeing fibers with plants, massage, reiki, acupuncture, sound healing & meditation, authentic relating, somatic movement, consent, cuddles, & more!

Let’s celebrate the gift of community and the magic that unfolds when we come together to co-create our vision for a more beautiful, abundant, and regenerative world. 🎸🌻🌈🍄💫 🌿

ABOUT THE PRODUCERS:
Permatours is a non profit focused on increasing food and housing security by creating joyful learn-by-doing experiences that teach people how to grow food and build structures regeneratively. Additionally, through hosting events at community centers throughout the U.S., we’re weaving together a network of hubs that provide opportunities for people to contribute and share their gifts in exchange for food & housing.
