Elkhorn Gathering 2023 – UT

2023 will be our first year for the Elkhorn ancestral skills gathering in beautiful Boulder, Utah!
What is Elkhorn?
Elkhorn is a week long event where people; instructors and students come together and camp out while taking classes, sharing and connecting with eachother.
Elkhorn is patterned after other similar earth skills gatherings that have been successful and growing for many years.
If you appreciate learning and sharing ancient skills while connecting with like minded people, all while enjoying breath taking landscapes, mountain lakes, desert canyons, fresh air, , unique geology, wilderness education, handmade items, wild foraging, walking barefoot, connecting to your roots, the smell of campfire, sustainability, campfire cooking and lots of quality time with friends and family? Then come join the Elkhorn family.
One of the focuses at Elkhorn is education. At this gathering you can expect to find a variety of classes to choose from including basketry, pottery, tanning, wild edibles, friction fire, navigation, various wild crafting, spinning, weaving, felting, buckskin sewing, leather crafts, sandals, mocassins, stone tools, earth pigments and much more.
