61st Annual Bayfield Apple Festival
Celebrate the fall harvest with us in Bayfield, Wisconsin! Enjoy various apple orchard events and tours, and come downtown for live music, food and craft vendors, and the Spectrum Carnival.
September 27: Apple Pie and Dessert Contest
Where: Bayfield Lakeside Pavilion – Pie Dropoff: 4-5 p.m. – Judging: 5 p.m. – Community Tasting: 6-8 p.m. – Bayfield’s best bakers will try to win over the judges in this delicious competition for the best apple pie or apple dessert. The event kicks off the Apple Festival…
October 6: Farmer’s Market
Start Time: 10am – Shop locally sourced produce at the Bayfield Apple Festival Farmer’s Market located on First Street.
October 7: Apple Peeling Contest
Start time: 1pm – Try your hand at creating the longest apple peel! The winner gets the glory of wearing the honorary apple peeling campion hat and metal.
October 7: Firemen’s Fish Fry, Live Music and Beer Garden
Time: 11am – Help support our first responders at the annual Firemen’s Fish Fry! Fish is available until sold out. There will also be live music and a beer garden!
Friday Oct 6 and Sat Oct 7:
10am-5pm, Food and Craft Vendors line the streets of Downtown Bayfield.
Apple Festival Parade
October 8, 2:00 p.m.
Wrap up Apple Festival weekend with the Grand Parade down historic Rittenhouse Avenue!
The parade features the Pipes and Drums of Thunder Bay, Apple Orchard Floats, High School Band performances and a Mass Band playing “On Wisconsin.”
